Risk one: what is actually in the product
The single largest safety variable is not kratom itself — it is the supply chain behind it. Unregulated kratom has repeatedly been found contaminated with salmonella, heavy metals like lead, and in rare cases synthetic drugs entirely unrelated to the plant.
