3. Age restriction

Our products are sold exclusively to adults aged 21 and over. They must be kept out of the reach of children and pets at all times.

4. Who should not purchase

We strongly discourage purchase by, and our products are not intended for, any person who:

• is under 21 years of age;
• is pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding;
• is taking prescription medication of any kind, particularly antidepressants, antipsychotics, opioids, benzodiazepines, blood pressure medication, blood thinners or thyroid medication;
• has a heart, liver, kidney, lung, blood-pressure or seizure condition;
• has any diagnosed mental health condition;
• is recovering from, or being treated for, substance dependence;
• is scheduled to undergo surgery or anaesthesia;
• operates heavy machinery or drives for a living.

5. Potential risks associated with mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine

Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) and its principal alkaloids, mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine, are pharmacologically active compounds. Published case reports and public health advisories have associated their use with a range of adverse events, including but not limited to: nausea and vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, agitation, elevated heart rate or blood pressure, liver injury, seizures, respiratory depression, dependence and withdrawal, and — particularly in combination with other central nervous system depressants — death.

Highly concentrated or isolated alkaloid products carry a substantially greater risk of adverse events than whole-leaf botanical material. They are not appropriate for anyone without prior experience, and they are never appropriate for anyone who has not read and understood this disclaimer.

6. Never combine with other substances

Do not combine these products with alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, sleep aids, antihistamines, stimulants, MAO inhibitors, or any other central nervous system depressant. Do not drive or operate machinery after handling or consuming them. Do not take them alongside any other substance without first speaking to a physician.

7. Dependence and withdrawal

Chronic use of kratom alkaloids has been associated with the development of tolerance and physical dependence, and with withdrawal symptoms on cessation. If you experience any adverse effect, stop immediately and seek medical attention. If you feel that your use has become difficult to control, contact a medical professional or a substance-use helpline in your country.

8. Poison control and emergencies

In the United States, call Poison Control on 1-800-222-1222 (24 hours) or 911 in an emergency. In Canada, contact your provincial poison centre or 911. Tell the clinician exactly what was taken and bring the product packaging and batch number with you.

9. Individual variation

Botanical materials vary in alkaloid content between plants, batches and preparations. Published milligram figures describe the content of the specific tested batch; they do not predict any individual response. Body weight, metabolism, prior exposure, medication and health status all affect how any pharmacologically active substance affects a person.

10. Legal variability

Kratom is banned or restricted in a number of countries, US states, counties and cities, and its legal status changes over time.
